cassie's critter care
A friend of mine and fellow Launch JOCO classmate & friend, Cassandra Bridges, came to us for a fresh, heartfelt approach that she wanted for her rebrand. She hoped for something that reflected her love, care, and empathy that she has for animals she pours into her work and captured her passion for animals in a way that felt true to her personality to convey to her target audience.
FULL BRAND IDENTITY - MOMENTUM PACKAGE
I was thrilled to design this for her! Off gate, she knew that she needed a little more than a foundational brand strategy to support her growth long-term. So, Cassie went with our highest tiered brand package, which includes an illustrative-driven branding approach, business cards, supporting graphics, custom illustrations for service icons and patterns to tie into her identity, t-shirts & hoodies, and stickers. So that these custom graphics can utilized across her website, social media, and marketing materials.
When creating her brand mark, I knew it needed to be playful, bold, warm, and approachable—just like Cassie's personality that I gathered from her Brand Discovery Form. I started by sketching concepts that used hearts, symbolizing care and connection. That sketching process sparked a larger idea: a cat and dog snuggled together, their noses forming little hearts, all wrapped in a heart-shaped mark. The perfect balance of simplicity and symbolizing her story, showcasing that her care extends beyond just cats and dogs—she cares deeply for all animals.
To top it off, I paired it with a custom typeface that’s friendly and distinctive; making her brand instantly recognizable and emotionally resonant. After presenting my first round ideas, she loved it so from their, I then sketched, built and vectored her icons and patterns to play as supporting elements to tie into her brand so that I could design her cards, stickers, and t-shirts.
